In addition to registered titles and mortgages, customers have contacted the NLS customer service and asked, for instance, about the surroundings of plots used for building summer cottages, coordinates of the cottages and also rights of way and boat havens.

The National Land Survey (NLS) has issued the Real estate purchase price statistics for 2009. The statistics show that last year the number of real estate purchases declined by 10 percent. The prices of detached houses are on the rise, whereas the value of summer cottages remains unchanged.

The National Land Survey and the Agency for Rural Affairs acquire aerial photographs together

The aerial photography cooperation between the NLS and the Agency of Rural Affairs provides considerable advantages. "Joint photography flights allow us to save expenses and reduce emissions", explains director Juha Vilhomaa.
