"What is the purpose of international activities in land surveying?" The National Land Survey of Finland (NLS) measures land in Finland, but representatives of the NLS also take part in international cooperation events around the world. In today's world it is impossible to creep into one's shell and not to care for what is happening in the world around us. The world is changing more rapidly than expected and the activities of the NLS must keep up with the pace.
The fees for property registration and cadastral surveys are subjected to change as of 1 January 2011. The fees for titles will increase, whereas the fees for mortgages will be reduced.
In addition to registration fees, cadastral survey fees are subjected to change at the turn of the year. The fees for cadastral surveys, such as parcelling, will increase by three per cent on average. The new prices are applied to issues decided after 1 January 2011.
