A conveyance is a document, which indicates a transfer of an ownership. For example, a deed of purchase or a deed of donation can be a conveyance.
A conveyance can be understood, for example, as a sale, exchange, gift or division agreement. Also a preliminary agreement related to property sale requires certification by the public purchase witness.
The conveyance must include at least the following details:
- purpose of conveyance
- target of conveyance
- conveyer(s) and acquirer(s)
- details of the purchase price or other charges if it is not a gift that is in question
If it is a question of transferring a piece of land, the area to be transferred must be clearly marked on maps, of which a copy for each conveyance to be drawn up will be attached.
