Land Uplift Gravity Lines

Fennoscandian land uplift gravity lines have been measured since 1966. Four east-west gravity profiles go across the Fennoscandian land uplift area. We try to measure very small 0 - 2 microgal gravity difference change/ year between line stations for determination of origin of postglacial rebound phenomenon. International measuring campaigns have been carried out along land uplift gravity line 63° N every five years intervals under coordination of Nordic Geodetic Commission. Along other land upliftgravity line campaigns have taken place more seldom. Absolute gravity measurements are replacing relative gravity measurements at the moment in the determination of gravity change.
