Welcome to the FGI Postdocs in the Spotlight Research Seminar Series!

Our first speaker is Dr. Hugo Lecomte. He will tell us about: GRACE -satellite measured gravity-field variations for new insights into sea-level and the Earth’s core processes.

Gravity-field variations measured by GRACE and GRACE-FO satellites provide unique insights into global mass redistribution, from melting ice sheets and changing sea levels to core dynamics. These measurements and related studies enable a deeper understanding of how surface and internal Earth processes behave.

This presentation is the first in our special FGI Research Seminar Series – FGI Postdocs in the Spotlight, where our new Postdocs of the 3-year TULANET Postdoc program will present themselves and their work.

The event is open for all, and no registration is needed. You can attend the seminar via Teams or at Vuorimiehentie 5 auditorium, which is located at the ground floor. The presentations are given in English.
