We are delighted to welcome Professor Galera Monico from São Paulo State University (UNESP) to the FGI Research Seminar, where he will give a talk on: UNESP Overview: Contributions to GNSS-Based Geodesy and Atmospheric Monitoring. In the talk a brief overview of UNESP will be provided, followed by a description of research activities involving GNSS applications in geodesy and atmospheric monitoring.
Dr. João Galera Monico is a Full Professor at São Paulo State University (UNESP). He has led numerous research projects funded by the Brazilian main funding agencies, including 'flagship' programs focused on GNSS and aviation. His contributions have been recognized through awards as the Brazilian "Personality of the Year in the Geotechnology Sector", named by GPS World magazine as the "50 GNSS Leaders to Watch".
The FGI Research Seminar is a platform where researchers from FGI and visiting researchers present their work. The event is open for all, and no registration is needed. You can attend the seminar via Teams or at Vuorimiehentie 5 auditorium, which is located at the ground floor. The presentations are given in English.
