FGI Research Seminar: Cold interstellar clouds, star formation, and GNSS jamming and spoofing
Teams / Vuorimiehentie 5 Auditorium
Welcome to the FGI Postdocs in the Spotlight Research Seminar Series!
Our last speaker is Dr. Emma Mannfors. The title of the presentation is "Cold interstellar clouds, star formation, and GNSS jamming and spoofing".
This talk will discuss both their PhD dissertation work as well as their upcoming work at FGI-NAVI. The PhD focused on the cold interstellar medium and star formation. Their work at NAVI will research how GNSS signals are spoofed and jammed, and attempt to develop detection and mitigation methods for these phenomena.
This presentation is the last in our special FGI Research Seminar Series – FGI Postdocs in the Spotlight, where our new Postdocs of the 3-year TULANET Postdoc program will present themselves and their work.
The event is open for all, and no registration is needed. You can attend the seminar via Teams or at Vuorimiehentie 5 auditorium, which is located at the ground floor. The presentation is given in English.
