When you need information about a property, you should find out what the property identifier is before contacting the National Land Survey. The property identifier is a series of four numbers, such as 092-416-11-123. The property identifier is shown on extracts concerning the property in question, such as a real estate tax demand or certificate of title.
You can also use the map below to search for the property identifier.
- In the Search field, type the place name, address or property identifier.
- You can use the characters + and − to zoom in and out on the map.
- The identifiers become visible when you have zoomed in close enough. Loading property identifiers on the map can take a while.
- If you need to know the owner of a property, read the instructions on the "Who owns this property unit?" page.
