Through the interface services, you can access up-to-date property information directly from the registers maintained by the National Land Survey of Finland.
Using the service requires software that can send requests to the National Land Survey of Finland's servers. In practice, this means, for example, GIS software or a custom-built application.
Through the interface services, you can integrate for example the following information into your application:
Property Register information, property boundaries and identifiers (descriptions in Finnish)
Titles and mortgages (descriptions in Finnish)
Extracts and printouts (descriptions in Finnish)
Property transactions (descriptions in English)
Property purchase price statistics (description in Finnish)
Documents from the National Land Survey of Finland's electronic archive (description in Finnish)
Property boundaries and identifiers in map services (descriptions in English)
Using the interface services requires a service agreement. The use of certain services is also subject to authorization under the Act on the Land Information System and Related Information Services (KTJ Act) as well as the Act on the Purching Price Register for land property. Pricing is based on a technical maintenance fee and a data usage fee. The interface services can be tested free of charge.
