The apartment printout includes the basic information of the group of shares as well as its ownership, pledging, and restriction information in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System. A group of shares means the shares that give their owner the right of possession of a specific apartment. An apartment whose ownership is determined by shares can also be a parking space or other space.

Why is the ownership information missing from the apartment printout?
In some cases, the apartment printout does not show information about the apartment owner:
- Usually, the owner is missing because an electronic registration of ownership has not been applied for yet for the apartment. Ownership information will be entered in the apartment printout when an electronic registration of ownership has been registered for the apartment and the paper share certificate has been cancelled at the National Land Survey.
- The housing company has made an amendment to the articles of association, and the amended information has not been registered in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System yet. Read more about amendments to the articles of association.
Description of the sections of the apartment printout
Company
This section shows the basic information about the company: business ID, business name, company form, residency, and registration date. This information is information from the Trade Register. Moreover, the basic information tells in which municipality and on which property the buildings are located.
Note! The property identifier has been given by the housing company, and a change in the identifier is not updated in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System automatically.
Group of shares
This section shows the basic information about the group of shares. The share group identifier is a unique identifier for the group of shares. The section shows the purpose of the apartment, the share numbers, and the amount of shares.
The address of the apartment is shown. The apartment number contains information about the staircase letter, apartment number, and apartment letter (e.g. A 1b).
The section also shows whether the apartment has an electronic registration of ownership or a paper share certificate.
Spaces controlled by group of shares
This section shows spaces controlled by the group of shares, and their purpose.
The information given about spaces controlled includes type of parking space, location floor, area, and volume, if known.
Rights of ownership
Each ownership information includes share of ownership, owner’s name, and personal identity code or business ID. The section shows all registered and pending ownerships.
The ownership information will be shown on the printout when the ownership of the apartment has been registered in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System.
Rights of lien
The section shows all registered and pending liens. Liens are shown according to order of precedence.
The information about liens include lien number and pledgee, pledged share of ownership, and pledger. The amount of the lien is shown, if the total amount is limited.
The pledging information will be shown on the printout when the ownership of the apartment has been registered in the Residential and Commercial Property Information System.
Restrictions
This section shows all registered and pending restrictions. The restrictions are shown in order of initiation date.
The printout shows restriction number and information. If a restriction only concerns a designated share of a group of shares, the designated share is shown on the printout.
Restrictions on administration
The apartment printout shows restrictions on administration:
- Entry according to the Act on the Use, Assignment and Redemption of State-Subsidized (ARAVA) Rental Dwellings and Buildings (1190/1993)
- Entry according to the Act on Right-of-Occupancy Housing (393/2021)
- Redemption right according to the articles of association concerns the acquisition of a share in a housing company
- Bankruptcy
