Accessibility statement: Sovellusten saatavuustilanne

This accessibility statement applies to the “Sovellusten saatavuustilanne” (Availability of applications) website. NLS specialists have assessed the compliance of the website with accessibility requirements. The statement was revised on 11 February 2021.

Accessibility requirements are largely fulfilled

The accessibility of the website was assessed on 20 February 2020. It was stated that the website does not fulfil accessibility requirements and that there are significant accessibility flaws. After the assessment, a correction plan was prepared, and the corrections defined in the plan have largely been made in the website’s development environment. The corrections will be made in the user interface as soon as possible, by 31 March 2021 at the latest.

The accessibility issues discovered during the assessment are listed below. The findings are based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. The number and link provided after each finding indicates what WCAG section is not fulfilled at the website.

Significant issues in robustness

  • Not all names, roles and values of user interface components can be determined programmatically. WCAG 4.1.2 

Moderate and minor issues in robustness

  • Some user interface elements don’t have unique id which may cause problems when the website is used with assistive technologies. WCAG 4.1.1

Significant issues in operability

  • The website includes links, whose purpose cannot be determined from the link text alone or from the link text and the programmatically determined link context. WCAG 2.4.4

The aforementioned issues discovered at the website will be corrected as soon as possible, by 31 March 2021 at the latest.
