FGI Research Seminar: Monitoring forest disturbances and crop traits via advanced drone remote sensing
Teams / Vuorimiehentie 5, Auditorium
Welcome to the FGI Postdocs in the Spotlight Research Seminar Series!
This time our speaker is Dr. Raquel Oliveira. The topic of her presentation is “Monitoring forest disturbances and crop traits via advanced drone remote sensing.”
Climate change is driving major ecological shifts in forests and agriculture, from widespread bark beetle outbreaks to altered crop development. This seminar will present how advanced drone-based hyperspectral data can deliver comprehensive assessments of forest and crop conditions. This presentation is part of our special FGI Research Seminar Series – FGI Postdocs in the Spotlight, where our new Postdocs of the 3-year TULANET Postdoc program will present themselves and their work.
The event is open for all, and no registration is needed. You can attend the seminar via Teams or at Vuorimiehentie 5 auditorium, which is located at the ground floor. The presentations are given in English.
