The National Land Survey maintains a Geographic Names Register of all geographic names in Finland. The register contains data about approximately 800,000 named places and their names. The named places can be cities, towns, traffic operating points, waterways, hills, or other place features that have been named. You can look at named places and their names on the Information cards for geographic names service.

EPOS-Finland
The Finnish node of the European Plate Observing System - EPOS-Finland (EPOS-FI) is an umbrella organization of distributed National Research Infrastructures (NRIs) in Solid Earth Sciences. The development project will establish a national metadata and computational centre – the EPOS-FI hub to promote and enhance the findability of the EPOS-FI geophysical data.
