Unwanted species in seed multiplication or pure oat cultivation increases the risk of deficit for the farmer. Detecting and removing the unwanted species is a difficult and costly process.  DrooniLuuppina -project  develops drone based remote sensing methods for identifying unwanted species in seed multiplication and pure oats production fields.

This is regional project in Häme, South Ostrobothnia and South-East Finland. Natural Resources Institute Finland LUKE, Finnish Geospatial Research Institute FGI and Pro Agria South Ostrobothnia are jointly working on the project.
