GIMME

One of the unique features of the Galileo satellite navigation system is its dedicated Public Regulated Service (PRS). The purpose of the PRS is to improve the resilience of authorized users against radio jamming and counterfeit signals (spoofing). The GIMME project is conducted in collaboration with the Polish Ministry of the Interior and Administration [coordinator], Polish National Institute of Telecommunications, Polish National Border Guard Headquarters, Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority, and the National Security Authority of the Czech Republic.

The project was started on June 1, 2018, and its duration is 24 months. It is funded by the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA).
