New information technology is an enabler for geoinformatics, starting in tasks related to data collection and content creation, and ending with user interfaces for consumer applications. To develop innovative service solution for various purposes and for varying user groups is in the core of the research work of this group. Currently the research projects cope with topics on service design, user interfaces and their usability studies, spatial cognition research in modelling the usage environments, as well as in applying high performance geocompution in the service chains.
Research group ended on 31st of December 2017.
Publications made by the research group have been added to the publications until the year 2014.
