The National Land Survey's customer service in Helsinki will open in a new location on 1 June

The National Land Survey’s service point in Helsinki will be closed on 26–29 May due to relocation. On Monday 1 June, the customer service will open at the Suomi-piste in Helsinki in the familiar administrative building but at the new address Ratapihantie 7.

The National Land Survey's customer service will be open from Monday to Friday at 9:00–16:15. You can also book an appointment at the service point. At the service point, NLS customers can attend to matters related to their properties and apartments and order map products.

“In the new premises, you can handle your matters in service rooms where privacy and data security remain at a good level. You can also book an appointment at the service point,” says Information Manager Jaana Rintala.

During the relocation week, the service point in Helsinki will be open only on Monday 25 May. The service points closest to Helsinki are located in Hämeenlinna, Lohja, and Porvoo and serve our customers as normal. Moreover, the service point in Hämeenlinna will be open by appointment exceptionally on Thursday 28 May, Friday 29 May, and Friday 5 June, too.

You can use our online services to handle matters related to your property and apartment on your own:

  • NLS e-service: look at information about your property and apartment, buy extracts and certificates, make applications, submit the apartment owner’s contact information to the housing company. The service is available in Finnish and in Swedish.
  • Property Transaction Service: handle a property conveyance online, apply for a mortgage or a transfer of an electronic mortgaged deed. The service is available in Finnish and in Swedish.

The Suomi-piste brings together public services under the same roof

In addition to the National Land Survey, also the Digital and Population Services Agency, International House Helsinki, the Finnish Supervisory Agency, the Social Security Appeal Board (SAMU), and the Tax Administration will serve customers at the Suomi-piste in Helsinki.

More Suomi-piste service points will be opened across the country during the next few years. Suomi-piste service points serve customers who need to deal with the authorities on the spot.
